EPS POOL CONCEPTS will provide the following services for the 2025 pool season:

 

Opening:  Remove small amounts of water and debris from cover (significant water or debris on cover will be removed at an additional labor charge of $60.00 per half hour; customer will be made aware of this at time of opening).  Remove fold and store cover at customers request, spring assemble pool equipment, remove all winter plugs, install ladders skimmer baskets return fittings etc., start up and test equipment, advise of any repairs needed or safety concerns, and add start up chemicals.

 

Initial Cleaning: Vacuum pool (to waste if needed), skim pool, brush floor and walls , empty skimmer and pump baskets, backwash filter if needed, and test and adjust chemicals (as needed).

 

Weekly Maintenance: 16 weeks of service (additional weeks can be purchased after the 16 week period expires) including: Vacuum, skim, and brush floor and walls of pool.  Empty skimmer and pump baskets, backwash filter if needed, test and adjust chemicals (as needed).  Covers up to 1 hour of cleaning, should extended cleaning be needed (from storms, parties, or other circumstances) additional charges would apply billed at $60.00 per half hour. 1 Filter clean per season. Technician will assess and address when a filter clean is needed.

 

Service calls: If a service call is needed, we will be out to address the issue within 24 hrs. at a discounted labor rate of $150.00 per hr. You will have access to the owner’s cell phone number for emergencies.

 

Closing: Remove ladders, skimmer baskets and return fittings. Blow out and plug all lines, remove drain plugs from equipment and blow out equipment, add closing chemicals, install cover and advise homeowner of any problems at time of closing.

 

Any additional work not stated in this agreement is subject to additional billing.  No additional work will be done or billed without the homeowner’s consent.

 

                                                                                                                                      Exclusions

Phosphates: Phosphates are organic materials that naturally occur in your pool, coming from dead leaves, lawn fertilizer, and many other sources. At high enough levels, phosphates feed algae to grow in your pool. This will turn your pool’s water green and cloudy. If Phosphates are present in your pool water, we can provide a phosphate removal service. This will include an initial dose of phosphate remover, after 48 hours of your filter continuously running, the phosphates will have dropped to the bottom of the pool. At that time we will vacuum the pool to waste. If applicable, the pool filter will be cleaned as well. This service is an extra cost and can be provided for 375.00 plus tax.

 

 

Staining and scaling: Pool scale and surface stains can appear in almost any type of pool, including concrete, plaster or vinyl liner pools. Scale formation and staining are caused by the presence of excess minerals in your pool water. Scale buildup is calcium carbonate that solidifies on pool walls and surfaces. It’s usually white or tan in color with a rough or gritty texture. On the other hand, staining or water discoloration can be a variety of colors, including black, yellow, or brownish. Pool owners commonly mistake stains or water discoloration for pool algae. However, unlike algae, pool stains do not brush off readily and are not slick or slimy. We carry a variety of chemicals to treat stain and scale issues. This can be provided at the time of your weekly service and will be billed for what chemicals were used.
